Latest pedalboard configuration

After much faffing around with various power supplies, alternate pedal orders, differing inclusions of numerous distortion units and delays, here is the latest setup of effects as of today:

CIMG3044

Order is:

  1. Guyatone MT-3 Micro Tuner
  2. Catalinbread Serrano Picoso clean boost
  3. Keeley Compressor (2 knob – heh heh, I said ‘knob’)
  4. Fulltone OCD
  5. Digitech Death Metal
  6. MXR EVH Phase 90
  7. Guyatone FL-3 Flanger
  8. Boss PS-5 Super Shifter
  9. TC-Electronics Nova Delay

No doubt this will be changing when my new amp arrives which is a…. ????

BTW that’s a Pedaltrain Junior (soft case out of shot) that they are all mounted on. Power except for Nova Delay is to be supplied by a Visual Sound One Spot. Oh, and also not in the picture is my Dunlop Crybaby 95Q Wah which I am keeping separate from the main board because a) it’s too fucking big and heavy to be secured to the frame, b) takes up too much space, c) has a weedy little thin aluminium base which won’t hold up to the rigours of being secured with 3M Dual Lock, not to mention the annoying rubber feet that are too high to allow securing by velcro-type substance anyway (and yes I have tried removing them, but the damn threads are too shallow to allow the base plate to be reattached if the feet are removed) Connectors are Neutrik Heads (can’t remember what kind) with Canare cable.

  1. That’s a clean looking rig!

I had the same issues with my wah pedal. I cut a thin piece of wood to size, drilled and countersunk matching holes, removed the base and the feet, and put the wood base in its place. The screws maintained their correct length that way. I then put the Dual Lock on the wood base. Worked out clean that way.

  2. Here’s the link if you are interested, it includes a picture of the modified wah pedal:
